Job Title: Senior Accountant

CloudHQ LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Development Team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the Accounting/Finance Team in the day-to-day operations and development of several large-scale data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly draws and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Review corporate expense and overhead allocations.
  • Perform account variance analyses and reconciliations.
  • Prepare journal entries.
  • Review invoices for proper coding and prepare for payment.
  • Reconcile and review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.
  • Prepare monthly draw packages for submission to lenders.
  • Assist with due diligence tasks as required for Corporate Capital Transactions.
  • Compile financial data and other audit requirements.
  • Prepare monthly tenant and customer invoices.
  • Assist with other accounting projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years in a professional business environment, public accounting and/or real estate industry.
  • Entrepreneurial and thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Superior organization skills with the ability to maintain progress against important deadlines.
  • Ability to train and motivate junior staff members.
  • Able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Strong sense of urgency to accomplish tasks on or ahead of schedule while still maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to solve problems using analysis, technical and organizational expertise.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Responsible attitude with strong work ethic; leading by example in attendance, attitude and technical work product.
  • Strong teaming skills; works well with internal and external team members and drives execution through collaboration and networking.
  • Assertive personality style needed to ensure that processes are completed and moving on to the next stage of completion.
  • Ability and willingness to respond to emails and phone calls after hours in the event of an emergency.
