KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

MAINTENANCE
  • Conduct ongoing preventive maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
  • Oversee the operation and repair of all HVAC systems and related equipment, electrical distribution systems, plumbing, and building repairs as required.
  • Familiarize yourself with various equipment and the necessary methods for their proper use, including building automation and fire/life safety systems.
  • Perform regular facility inspections and due diligence assessments, reporting on conditions affecting client occupancy and operations.
SAFETY
  • Complete necessary Hazard Assessments.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring cleanliness and safety in work areas. Identify hazards and propose solutions for their mitigation.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Complete all mandated safety training as scheduled.
  • This position requires compliance with vaccination protocols for on-site attendance.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
  • Submit daily P-card receipts.
  • Update work order statuses in real-time.
  • Utilize CMMS systems, such as Corrigo, for all completed work.
  • Timely refer issues to customers and management for escalation.
  • Participate in work and safety meetings as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong focus on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment maintenance.
  • Preferred: Two years of trade school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, or related skills.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
  • Universal CFC recovery certification (or to be obtained within 90 days of employment).
  • 3rd Party Certification is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Comprehensive understanding of system design and applications.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Word and Excel, preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and overhead work.
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders with a weight limit of 300 lbs while carrying tools.
  • Climb ladders up to 30 feet high.
ON-CALL DUTIES
  • Availability for call-in work and other assigned tasks as needed.
