Job Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our team, contributing to the maintenance and overall management of a large residential community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, masonry, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs.
  • Be available for 24-hour emergency maintenance as needed.
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules and special projects as assigned.
  • Oversee the maintenance team to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the property management team on budgeting and project planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance with a solid understanding of repairs, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance installations.
  • Preferred certifications include EPA Universal or Type II.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Willingness to be on-call and work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Possession of a smartphone is necessary.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

  • Hourly wage ranging from $16 to $22 based on experience.
  • Opportunities for monthly renewal commissions and bonuses.
