We are currently seeking a Manager to join our Federal Advisory Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of professionals providing financial management advisory services to U.S. Federal government clients.
  • Deliver expert knowledge in financial management areas, including financial reporting, internal controls, and financial business systems.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, including scope definition, business case development, vendor evaluation, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, testing, training, and implementation.
  • Review draft deliverables from engagement teams and present final outcomes to management.
  • Address audit requests, prepare responses, support engagement walkthroughs, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders while executing formal project management activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of methodologies and intellectual capital, including articles, whitepapers, and training initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in federal financial management or transformation.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; CPA, CGFM, or CDFM certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements/documents for U.S. Federal government entities.
  • Proven experience in leading project engagements, staff development, internal financial controls, business process analysis, and financial business systems.
  • Familiarity with FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMB.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading financial practices.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support firm engagements.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, along with an active U.S. Federal government Secret security clearance.
