Job Summary:

Aquatech International is seeking a skilled Instrument Controls PLC Technician to join our team in Pasco, Washington. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting PLC and HMI systems, as well as performing electrical equipment maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of PLC and HMI systems for machine-mounted controls
  • Troubleshooting of electrical equipment, including motors, variable frequency drives, and MCCs
  • Continuity, Megger, or ground fault testing
  • Calibration of instruments and valve positioners
  • Advice on spare parts maintenance and inventory
  • Preparation of calibration and maintenance reports
  • Acting as backup operator in case of emergency
  • Assisting the plant supervisor in mechanical maintenance when feasible
  • Housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements:
  • Two (2) Year Technical School Degree (Preferred) OR
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience
  • This is a safety-sensitive position and will require a pre-employment 5-panel test
