Position Overview: Used Car Manager

The Used Car Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer relationships and streamlining the sales process. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Establishing and nurturing relationships with customers to create a robust referral network.
  2. Providing comprehensive training and support to the sales team, assisting in the closing of sales.
  3. Overseeing various aspects of the sales department to ensure operational efficiency.
  4. Acquiring vehicles for inventory through auctions and off-lease returns.
  5. Conducting trade appraisals, managing desk deals, and tracking gross logs.
  6. Utilizing tools such as Vauto, DriveCentric, and RouteOne effectively.
  7. Demonstrating a minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a dealership environment.
  8. Possessing prior experience as a new car manager.
  9. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  10. Managing a high volume of business with professionalism and integrity.
  11. Exhibiting strong computer skills, including proficiency in Internet applications, MS Outlook, Auto-Exchange, CRM systems, ADP, and Netlook.
  12. Understanding inventory control and adhering to a 45-day turn policy.
  13. Facilitating desk deals for sales professionals and maximizing deal potential through effective communication.
  14. Collaborating with local and national vendors.
