Job Title: Environmental Compliance Analyst

Location: Hybrid Work Environment

Duration: Contract Position

Overview:

The Environmental Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and company policies. This position involves a comprehensive review of environmental assessments to identify compliance issues and facilitate proper management of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of environmental assessments, including Phase I and Phase II reports, to pinpoint instances of non-compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the identification and appropriate handling of hazardous substances, ensuring compliance with waste management regulations and safety protocols.
  • Manage project timelines effectively, coordinating tasks related to environmental assessments and hazardous material management.

Detailed Duties:

  • Review environmental assessments to identify compliance gaps with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Maintain and update the environmental database, documenting all findings from assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations protecting innocent landowners.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to secure necessary environmental permits.
  • Coordinate compliance activities to uphold permits and certifications.
  • Assist in the development and execution of materials management and health and safety plans.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards regarding hazardous materials.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including legal counsel and regional teams.
  • Facilitate environmental training sessions for relevant teams.
  • Monitor and report on environmental due diligence metrics.
  • Support bi-monthly environmental health and safety discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Environmental Project Management is essential.
  • Project Management Professional Certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities, and a collaborative approach.
