Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a skilled Help Desk Specialist to provide Tier II IT support on a 5-year DoD program in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a DoD/Military environment and possess a CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent.
Responsibilities:- Provide Tier 2 IT support for end users and VIPs
- Troubleshoot various hardware and software issues using Cisco, Palo Alto, and Microsoft tools
- Troubleshoot, test, analyze, and maintain various network systems such as LAN, WAN, and Internet systems
- Perform Active Directory user account administration and password resets
- Manage and resolve incident support tickets in BMC Remedy and ServiceNow
- Answer questions for users via phone, email, live chat, and instant message
- Must have an Active DoD Secret or TS Clearance
- Must have a CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent/higher level certification
- Must have experience working in a DoD/Military environment
- 2-3+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Network Administration, and/or Mobile Device Management
- Experience providing technical support for software applications, mobile devices, hardware, and network systems
Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 depending on experience/degree & non-negotiable above 70K
