Job Description

The Edison Works Transformation team is focused on driving business transformation and adoption of FLIGHT DECK. We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Leader to partner with our organizational leadership team to drive Lean activities and impact product flow and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute the lean transformation within Edison Works to achieve operating goals using KPI-based performance management.
  • Coach and collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions to help progress our lean culture and drive continuous improvement.
  • Be a champion of Kaizen and facilitate Kaizen events to drive improvements using Pull, Kanban, Standard Work, 5S, and Single-Piece Flow.
  • Teach, promote, and practice the Systematic Approach to Lean @ GE and build Kaizen capability.
  • Participate in daily management process including daily management meetings, Genba walks, and Kata coaching cycles.
  • Coach teams using the Kata process to drive daily rapid experiments and problem-solving in a systematic way.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Manufacturing).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, and/or Training.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
