About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sourcing Lean, Process & Digital Operations team at GE Aviation, where you will play a key role in driving process transformation and improving outcomes for our employees, customers, and shareholders.

The team is structured around three areas of focus: LEAN, PROCESS, and DIGITAL. As a Sourcing Process Specialist, you will be embedded in the Lean, Process & Digital team, helping to drive the process vision and execute the transformation by creating customer value and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Identify process improvement needs, develop and mature processes, and lead operating cadence (daily management, operating reviews, etc.)
  • Value Stream Management: Own processes on current state VSM, annual updates to future state VSM, and connections to enterprise VSMs up & downstream
  • Kaizen Roadmap: Responsible for owning/executing events outlined on the roadmap, ongoing maintenance of roadmap items, org communication & stakeholder engagement for events
  • Metrics: Support of metrics related to VSM, inclusive of developing new measures, maturing existing measures, and driving results/target setting for all TTIs and/or KPIs
  • Daily Management & Operating Cadences: Responsible for establishing, scaling, and maturing the operating cadences & daily management required for VSM success

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of Supply Chain / manufacturing experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain / manufacturing experience
