Electrical Engineer

H&H is a leading infrastructure engineering firm with a rich history of delivering innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing electrical systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical design and inspection plans for low and high power distribution systems, industrial control systems, and lighting systems.
- Prepare contract plans, special provisions, calculations, engineer's estimates, inspection reports, and technical memorandums.
- Review and recommend changes to electrical drawings.
- Research and document design options for project managers.
- Troubleshoot operational issues for movable bridges.
- Work independently and mentor electrical engineers or design staff.
- Perform a mix of office and fieldwork.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain one within two years.
- Five+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Hands-on experience is a plus.
- Preferred experience designing and implementing industrial power distribution systems, instrumentation, and process control.
- Strong project management, technical writing, and communication skills.
- Experience with electrical controls for electric motors (preferred).
- Experience with CAD and drawing software, AutoCAD, and Microstation (preferred).
