Are you ready to advance your professional journey?
We are in search of a candidate to oversee maintenance operations, ensuring the repair and continuous enhancement of electrical apparatus (including PLCs, HMIs, and power distribution systems) as well as automated mechanisms. The primary objective is to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production yield.

As our systems evolve, you will play a crucial role in identifying avenues to lower operational expenses. Collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and research and development teams will be essential to support and refine ongoing process improvements. A key responsibility will also involve establishing data historian and DCS implementations.

Key Responsibilities of the Electromechanical Maintenance Engineer:
  • Act as the Electrical Engineer within the Maintenance division.
  • Engage with a variety of equipment and facility systems, including electro-mechanical setups like VFDs, motors, harmonic filters, and blower stages, alongside on-board electronic control systems such as CPUs, PLCs, HMIs, and various instruments. Provide electrical support across all systems.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance the performance and reliability of vacuum furnaces, kilns, breakers, junctions, and power distribution systems.
  • Supervise the operation and upkeep of all electrical systems.
  • Document and analyze equipment performance data.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Coordinate the repair and enhancement of electrical systems.
  • Modify existing electrical frameworks to accommodate new equipment requirements.
  • Maintain effective relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Assess equipment and materials to boost reliability and operational uptime.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
  • Support initiatives related to lean manufacturing, safety, 6S, and yield enhancement.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, chemicals, refining, oil & gas, or mining sectors within an industrial or facilities maintenance capacity.
  • Required Education: ABET-accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with high voltage switchgear operation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of controls engineering and SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with controller hardware and firmware design.
  • Proficiency in circuit design and selection.
  • Understanding of PLC logic and troubleshooting; experience in specifying PLC requirements is advantageous.

This is a full-time, direct hire, on-site career opportunity.

Compensation: $120,000 annually plus a 12% performance bonus
