Job Overview

Crystal Stairs, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for providing support to all employees, supervisors, and managers related to HR training and development within our Learning Management System.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training techniques, employee relations issues, and applicable employment law. They will also possess excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to deal with tact and diplomacy with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administer the Learning Management System, including logging, tracking, and implementing training content and modules.
  2. Ensure staff accessibility to online courses, align system hierarchy and organizational charts, and create and analyze training reports.
  3. Maintain and track key HRIS data, ensuring the integrity of the data, and support in the development of reports to track quantifiable HR data and metrics.
  4. Manage the LMS and provide technical support to all employees, management, and staff, including Agency annual events with registrations, media, and materials.
  5. Develop needs assessments, training evaluations, performance management processes, and LMS technical training.
  6. Provide support to the Learning and Development Manager in the coordination of all internal training and development initiatives that support the Agency's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in organization development and/or training, database, HRIS or LMS systems preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of training techniques, various training models, including learning theories.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations issues and applicable employment law.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of all content areas of human resource and state and federal regulations.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and database skills. HRIS experience required.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills required, with the ability to deal with tact and diplomacy with all levels of the organization.
