Job Title: Business Analyst II

Expeditors is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst II to join our team. As a Business Analyst II, you will play a critical role in driving business value and user functionality by working closely with the Product Owner and development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform analysis on new feature development for our business applications
  • Create/understand system integration diagrams and perform gap analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and translate business/functional requirements into easily understandable technical requirements
  • Organize and facilitate sessions with stakeholders and business owners to clarify requirements
  • Document process flow and data processing logic
  • Lead cross-functional agile team to solve complex technical challenges
  • Participate in and prepare for scrum ceremonies and ART-wide/SAFe ceremonies
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Business and/or Systems Analysis experience or equivalent work in software development
  • Knowledge of or experience working with different data message types (e.g., XML, JSON)
  • Demonstrated ability to create technical requirements and mapping specification documents
  • Leadership, analytical, organization, interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and research and resolve issues
  • Comfortable creating and presenting complex business and technical concepts to a broad range of audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience or understanding of the transportation/logistics industry
  • Prior experience working with system-to-system integration and working on system migration projects
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum development practices and ceremonies
  • SAFe familiarity and/or certification
