Position Overview
The ideal candidate will oversee the Rail Services operations and personnel at the designated site, executing supervisory duties in alignment with the organization's standards and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities encompass:
- Recruiting, training, and mentoring team members.
- Planning, delegating, and supervising tasks.
- Evaluating employee performance and managing rewards and disciplinary actions.
- Addressing grievances and resolving operational challenges.
Functional Responsibilities
Manage daily operations at the Rail Services facility, ensuring personnel and resources are utilized safely and efficiently.
Key tasks include:
- Monthly reporting on engineering projects, warranty claims, materials, and budgetary matters.
- Coordinating site setup with necessary manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Understanding contract requirements to prepare for site setup and commissioning.
- Providing technical training to stakeholders as needed.
- Testing vehicle functionality and troubleshooting train systems using a laptop.
- Overseeing the Maintenance Management System at the site.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing local feedback.
- Building relationships with suppliers to resolve warranty and technical issues.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Training and Education Requirements
A BA/BS degree from an accredited institution is required.
Candidates must be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
Experience with Power (TCMS and Traction) and Knorr-Bremse (Brakes, Doors, and HVAC) systems is highly desirable.
Prior experience in the rail after-market field, maintenance, or a similar industrial warranty role is essential.
Training will be provided at operational facilities.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Technical expertise in rail components and systems is crucial, with hands-on experience being a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
Compensation: The salary range for this position reflects various factors, including skills, experience, and organizational needs, with an estimated range of $120,000 to $135,000.
