ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Regional Service Operations Manager within our Customer Service Department. This role is pivotal in managing the service operations for a designated region.

Position Summary

The Regional Service Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the service department within the assigned region. This includes managing in-house service advisors, service assistants, and field service technicians. The role serves as a critical link between customers and internal ENGEL teams, providing essential technical support across various functions including engineering and spare parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily operations of the service department in the assigned region.
  • Lead and mentor a team of approximately 15 personnel, ensuring they deliver top-tier technical support to our customers.
  • Collaborate with other regional managers to provide comprehensive service across North America.
  • Oversee customer requests for technical support, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Assist ENGEL staff with inquiries related to spare parts, engineering, and service issues.

Leadership and Supervision

  • Responsible for the complete oversight of hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years in the injection molding industry, with comprehensive knowledge of the injection molding lifecycle.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory.
