We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Communication Technology Services, LLC. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance, safety, and delivery of service for our operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Operational Strategies: Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective execution of projects.
  • Oversee Field Teams: Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of field teams, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task prioritization.
  • Ensure Company-Wide Standards: Ensure company-wide national standards are being adhered to with consistency and accuracy, to include: finance, schedule, safety, quality, and communication.
  • Monitor and Analyze Team Performance: Monitor and analyze team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform Annual Reviews: Perform Annual Reviews for selected team members.
  • Train and Mentor Team Members: Train, mentor, and provide guidance to field team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication between departments.
  • External Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors, contractors, and clients.
  • Project Budget and Timeline Management: Monitor and manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed within the designated parameters.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Regular Communication: Communicate regularly with senior management, providing updates on project status, team performance, and any potential issues or risks.
  • Monthly Billing Reports: Verify monthly billing reports are accurate and up to date.
  • Closeout Package Preparation: Ensure all closeout package preparations are complete, accurate, and sent to customers in a timely manner.
  • Quality Control: Ensure OA/QC of all projects meet CTS and Customer standards.
  • Project Management: Function as a Project Manager when necessary.
  • Union Relationships: Overall responsibility for a healthy relationship with IBEW Local Unions & Business Managers throughout the Region.
