About the Role:

As an Administrative Coordinator at Carilion Clinic, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department's administrative, scheduling, and customer service needs. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Department, including payroll processes, vacation time tracking, and data entry.
  • Collaborate with Educators and management to facilitate licensed clinical staff licensure and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain databases and files, and effectively communicate with the Senior Director, management team, Educators, and QM.
  • Participate in project management activities, including provision of clerical duties or higher-level involvement.
  • Provide technical support, utilizing computer skills to create and maintain databases, spreadsheet files, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Compose and/or type correspondence, and provide support for the production of written materials, including agendas, minutes, and reports.
Requirements:

Education: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education or equivalent 4 years of experience required.

Experience: Two years experience in data collection and analysis and/or advanced secretarial support required. Experience in emergency services or physician practice setting preferred.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Advanced computer skills with knowledge of a variety of software programs, including Microsoft word, Excel, Access, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation or database software. Excellent communications and organizational skills required.
