About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Tasca Automotive Group. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Order Management: Oversee the flow of service orders in the Drive Lane, ensuring that customers receive timely and efficient service.
  • Customer Experience: Take ownership of the customer's experience by performing additional tasks that leave a positive impression with the customer.
  • Concierge Support: Provide exceptional support to customers through phone and in-person inquiries, ensuring that their needs are met and they do not feel mishandled.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
  • Work Distribution: Distribute work between technicians efficiently, maximizing productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Support: Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs, providing accurate and helpful information to customers.
  • Customer Happiness: Maintain Customer Happiness scores at or above company standards, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Diagnostic Support: Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems, ordering parts and tools as necessary, and ensuring that repairs are completed efficiently.
  • Warranty Administration: Oversee the administration of warranty claims, ensuring that customers receive prompt and fair resolution.
  • Training and Supervision: Train and supervise service department employees, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional service.
  • Scheduling and Task Assignment: Set schedules and assign tasks to service department employees, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Service Dispatch: Perform Service Dispatch duties, ensuring that customers receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Company Policies: Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards, ensuring that customers receive consistent and high-quality service.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring that the service department operates in accordance with industry standards.
  • Factory Relations: Maintain good working relationships with factory representatives, fostering positive employee relations and ensuring that the service department operates efficiently.
  • Upper Management Collaboration: Collaborate with upper management to make service department hiring and discipline decisions, ensuring that the service department operates effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • CDK Experience: Preferred experience with CDK systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and friendly personality, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage others, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and employee development.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
