Key Responsibilities- Wash, clean, and prepare vehicles for painting by removing any loose debris and applying a protective coating.
- Prime, block, and sand parts of vehicles to ensure a smooth painting process.
- Mask, paper, or grease components as necessary to prevent paint damage.
- Operate basic hand tools and small power tools to complete prep work.
- Maintain the condition of vehicles throughout the painting process.
- Train and work in various areas of production to meet production demands.
- Identify, handle, and dispose of materials safely and responsibly.
- Meet quality standards by paying attention to detail.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Communicate with teammates and the head painter to ensure seamless job execution.
- Previous experience in a collision center paint department.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate equipment for painting functions.
- Basic computer competencies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
