Key Responsibilities
  • Wash, clean, and prepare vehicles for painting by removing any loose debris and applying a protective coating.
  • Prime, block, and sand parts of vehicles to ensure a smooth painting process.
  • Mask, paper, or grease components as necessary to prevent paint damage.
  • Operate basic hand tools and small power tools to complete prep work.
  • Maintain the condition of vehicles throughout the painting process.
  • Train and work in various areas of production to meet production demands.
  • Identify, handle, and dispose of materials safely and responsibly.
  • Meet quality standards by paying attention to detail.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Communicate with teammates and the head painter to ensure seamless job execution.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a collision center paint department.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate equipment for painting functions.
  • Basic computer competencies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
