Job Summary

We're seeking a forward-thinking technology professional with a passion for sales and a drive to succeed. As a Spot Sales Specialist, you'll partner with NetApp Client Executives to sell the Spot portfolio into existing NetApp customers and net new NetApp prospects alike.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings and revenue objectives.
  2. Partner with NetApp Client Executives to drive revenue and market share within the Enterprise Segment.
  3. Develop and execute against a comprehensive account success plan.
  4. Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Spot by NetApp products and services.
  5. Accelerate customer adoption.
  6. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a combination of cold outreach, networking with NetApp Client Executives, and sourcing through partners.
  7. Manage contract negotiations.
  8. Ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  1. 7-10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS/software subscriptions in a highly technical environment.
  2. Proficient understanding of cloud-native technologies and their business benefits.
  3. Proficient understanding of public cloud providers, their business models, and offerings.
  4. Proficient understanding of open-source databases such as Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, and other similar technologies.
  5. Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Impeccable customer skills: communication, empathy, integrity.
  7. Proven success in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline generation, pipeline progression, negotiation, and closing complex sales cycles.
Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $210,000 - $230,000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
