Job Title: Physical Security Specialist

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Specialist to join our team in Honolulu, HI. As a key member of our National Security Sector, you will provide security administrative and operational support to the PACAF Special Security Office at PACAF Headquarters, JBPHH.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist the PACAF SSO with the protection of sensitive or classified information, personnel, facilities, installations, or other sensitive materials, resources, or processes against criminal, terrorist, or hostile intelligence activities. You will assist in the development of security policies and design, develop, evaluate, and sometimes install protection systems and devices to ensure that sensitive information, equipment, and other material is not compromised, sabotaged, stolen, misused, or subjected to terrorist, malicious mischief, or other acts of willful interference.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site surveys of proposed SCIF spaces and make recommendations to reduce threats to SCI.
  • Assist with the development and review of Construction Security Plans (CSP) and Modification Security Plans (MSP) for the construction new or renovation of existing SCIFs.
  • Review Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC) and TEMPEST Forms for all PACAF SCIFs theater-wide prior to submission to DIA for adjudication.
  • Review requests for equipment entry into existing SCIFs and make recommendations to the PACAF SSO.
  • Participate in annual Program Compliance Review (PCR) inspections of subordinate units through the lens of physical security.
  • Provide physical security training/updates to PACAF subordinate unit SSOs.
Requirements:
  • TS/SCI Clearance required on day one.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in DoD-related security activities and familiarity with the military environment.
  • Additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Strong background in executing security responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service oriented, and demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of ICD 705 and DoDM 5105.21, vol 2.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Experience working with DIA for SCIF authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Security Fundaments Professional Certification.
  • Security Asset Protections Professional Certification.
Pay Range:$78,000.00 - $141,000.00
