Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity to join Lockheed Martin as a Site Security Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations of our facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing security protocols to protect our assets and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight to multi-functions of security, including Personnel Security, Operational Security, Physical Security, and Security Education Training and Awareness.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DoD regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect our assets and personnel.
  • Manage and coordinate security-related projects, including investigations, security clearances, and access control.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of security-related activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing security regulations and industry standards, and implement updates to our security policies and procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience providing oversight to multi-functions of security, including Personnel Security, Operational Security, Physical Security, and Security Education Training and Awareness.
  • Knowledge of DoD regulations and industry standards, including ICD 705 Physical Security and DoD Manual, Vols 1-4.
  • Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Industrial and/or military security experience, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Desired Skills
  • Prior experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), assistant CPSO, or government Program Security Officer (PSO).
  • Familiarization with the NISPOM and experience working in a military environment.
  • Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to create complex documents and presentations.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing program requirements.
  • Experience leading/managing people, teams, and resources, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.

This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
