Job Summary

The Early Intervention Specialist at Phoenix House is responsible for co-facilitating children, teen, parent, and multi-family groups with a psychoeducational curriculum in a community setting. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services and promoting the Phoenix House Mission, Vision, and Values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans based on the curriculum to promote effective learning and engagement.
  • Conduct phone screenings with interested participants to assess their needs and suitability for the program.
  • Facilitate group sessions with children, teens, parents, and families to deliver the psychoeducational curriculum and promote positive outcomes.
  • Administer surveys to participants to gather feedback and evaluate the effectiveness of the program.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and community members to promote the program and its services.
  • Prepare and present reports on program participation and outcomes to stakeholders and management.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as scanners and printers to support program delivery.
  • Develop and maintain digital files to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and program developments.
  • Adhere to and promote the Phoenix House Mission, Vision, and Values in all aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Valid California Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office systems.
  • General knowledge of human development and curriculum preparation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and establish positive relationships with participants and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience working in human services or education.
