Position Overview:

As a PALs ABA Center-Based Behavior Technician, you'll play a vital role in our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Working within our state-of-the-art therapy center, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of children by implementing tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs), leading engaging therapy sessions, and collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Behavior Intervention: Utilize evidence-based ABA techniques to implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by our experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring the best outcomes for each child.
  2. Therapy Sessions: Lead fun and interactive therapy sessions that foster skill development, social interaction, and language acquisition, creating a positive and supportive environment where children can thrive.
  3. Data Analysis: Accurately collect and analyze data on each child's progress, providing valuable insights to inform treatment decisions and optimize outcomes.
  4. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team of BCBAs, therapists, educators, and families to develop comprehensive treatment plans, share insights, and ensure consistent and effective interventions.
  5. Family Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to families, empowering them with the tools and strategies needed to support their child's progress both within our center and in everyday life.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field (preferred)
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
  • Passion for working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, patience, and a dedication to making a positive impact
