Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients upon arrival and manage their wait times effectively.
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying insurance and processing necessary documentation.
  • Collect co-payments and other fees, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
  • Handle daily financial reconciliations in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist walk-in patients and visitors with their inquiries.
  • Manage phone communications, schedule appointments, and address patient concerns.
  • Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, staff, and the community.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.

Preferred:

  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of insurance processes and managed care.
  • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Experience in a medical front office setting.
