About the Role

The Data Support Associate role is a key position within the Data Analysis team at KIPP DC, responsible for providing critical data management and analysis support to various teams, including the Data Analysis team, Student Information team, KIPP Forward team, and schools. This role will work closely with data analysts, school leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data, as well as provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Assist data analysts with creating data presentations for school leaders and managing the data platform used by teachers to record attendance, behavior, and family communications.
  • Compile data from various sources, including Salesforce, PowerSchool, and other data platforms, for data analysis requests.
  • Support the smooth administration of early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school assessments, including ordering, organizing, and distributing testing supplies and materials.
  • Assist with day-of logistics and post-test wrap-up, including preparing for make-up testing and returning materials.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional experience analyzing and manipulating large amounts of data
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. Salesforce, PowerSchool)
  • Professional experience in K-12 and/or non-profit sector
