Role Summary

Healix Infusion Therapy, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Care Specialist to enhance our team in San Antonio, TX.

As a Pharmaceutical Care Specialist, you will manage onsite infusion pharmacies, ensuring the accurate compounding, dispensing, and oversight of medications for patients receiving treatment at home or within the infusion facility. This role involves frequent clinical consultations with healthcare providers regarding medication therapies and daily collaboration with nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive medication management plans for patients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.); two to three years of relevant experience in home care or hospital settings preferred; must meet all qualifications for a Level III Staff Pharmacist position.
  • Compliance with all internal and external educational requirements related to job duties and licensure is mandatory.
  • Experience in home health care or hospital pharmacy management is essential.
  • Familiarity with JCAHO standards is required.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
  • Valid State Board of Pharmacy License.
  • ACPE Sterile Products Certification.
  • CPR Certification.
