We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in identifying and pursuing new business prospects within the logistics and freight forwarding sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Recognizing and targeting potential clients in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
- Promoting our comprehensive range of services for both import and export operations to drive sales growth.
- Achieving and surpassing established sales objectives and performance metrics.
- Conducting market research to uncover new business opportunities and assess client needs.
- Implementing effective sales strategies and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
- Providing exceptional support during sales interactions and managing follow-up processes.
- Staying informed about industry trends, including competitor activities and market dynamics.
- Collaborating with product and pricing teams, as well as international partners, to ensure accurate quotations and proposals.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding or relevant logistics sales.
- Experience with a leading global freight forwarding company is essential.
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business-related discipline is required.
- In-depth knowledge of the domestic and international transportation landscape, including trucking, rail, air, and ocean freight.
- A proven history of success in sales, account development, and client prospecting.
- Familiarity with digital freight forwarding platforms and operational processes.
- Ability to cultivate trustworthy relationships with clients at all organizational levels.
- Strong presentation and sales skills, with meticulous attention to detail and follow-up.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the United States.
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean is required.
