About the Role

United Community Bank is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Part-Time Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Contact Center, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our customers through various channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service and support to customers through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Process customer requests, including account maintenance, debit card maintenance, and online banking support.
  • Meet and exceed personal scorecard goals, contributing to the overall goals of the department.
  • Interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and caring manner, representing United Community Bank as a leader in customer service.
  • Participate in training programs and maintain thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve team performance goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of banking, bank operations, retail, or customer service experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor.
  • Ability to work a set or rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment.
  • Self-starter with a passion for delivering superior customer service.
