Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Certified Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sterilization and decontamination procedures to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and safety.
  • Inspect and maintain medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medical instruments and equipment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in sterilization and instrumentation.
  • Nationally recognized specialty certification (e.g., CSPDT) required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a clinical environment with exposure to biohazards, chemicals, and other hazardous materials. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods is also required.
