Patient Care Coordinator

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic healthcare team and contribute to the well-being of our patients. As a Patient Care Technician, you'll be responsible for assisting with basic nursing care, transporting patients, and performing clerical functions. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your communication and interpersonal skills, working with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to our nursing team
- Assist with basic nursing care, including vital signs, wound care, and medication administration
- Transport patients safely and efficiently
- Perform clerical functions, including charting and data entry
- Collaborate with healthcare practitioners to ensure comprehensive patient care
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven (7) days of hire)
- Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days of hire
- Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure
- Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible
- MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R
- Current CPR Certification
- Recent bedside care experience in a healthcare environment
