Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce and promote Butler Ag and its offerings to new customers.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, focusing on mutual growth and becoming their primary contact.
  • Market and sell both new and pre-owned agricultural machinery, along with rental solutions.
  • Showcase equipment features and benefits, effectively communicating their value to customers.
  • Evaluate and appraise potential equipment trade-ins.
  • Provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs, highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Promote Butler's product support services, including parts and maintenance.
  • Enhance customer loyalty through follow-ups on service or parts transactions.
  • Engage in training and obtain necessary vendor certifications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to address challenges and enhance skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and equipment data.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork.
  • Adhere to Butler's mission statement and core values in all activities.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with local agricultural practices and the industry is preferred.
  • Prior sales experience and knowledge of agricultural equipment are advantageous.
  • Understanding of AGCO and related product lines is a plus.
  • Ability to explain basic financing options to customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong self-motivation and accountability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record.
  • CDL is preferred or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is required.
