Job Summary

Agtegra Cooperative is a leading agricultural cooperative seeking a skilled Fertilizer Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient blending, mixing, and loading of dry bulk and liquid fertilizer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain dry fertilizer bulk handling equipment, including Bobcat, Forklift, and Payloader, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Facility Maintenance: Inspect and maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and address any issues, perform light maintenance, and complete repair work as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of warehouse inventory, including tracking and billing processes, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, interact regularly with customers, peers, and management to promote a teamwork-focused environment and drive continuous improvement of facility operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • English Proficiency.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.
