Responsibilities

Gregory P Helfrich & Associates, part of the Claims Litigation Office, is seeking a skilled litigation attorney. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, time management, and technological abilities. This role requires a proactive approach and a robust work ethic, with the capacity to independently handle personal injury litigation from initial response through trial, while delivering outstanding customer service.

Candidates with 1 to 5 years of experience in insurance defense or litigation are preferred, particularly those with trial experience. State Farm is dedicated to the professional growth of our attorneys. This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring some in-office presence alongside remote work, with the possibility of adjustments based on business requirements.



Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited institution with commendable academic performance.
  • Active legal license in New Jersey and good standing with the state bar.
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in insurance defense.
  • Familiarity with a paperless work environment.
  • Proficient in automation and technical skills.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Potential yearly salary range: $125,625 - $135,000.
  • Potential yearly incentive pay: up to 16% of base salary.
