Responsibilities

Gregory P Helfrich & Associates, a Claims Litigation Office for State Farm, is seeking a skilled litigation attorney. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, time management, and technological skills. This role requires a resourceful individual with a robust work ethic capable of independently managing personal injury litigation from initial response to trial, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Candidates with 1 to 5 years of experience in insurance defense or litigation are preferred, and trial experience is advantageous. The position operates in a hybrid work environment, necessitating some in-office presence alongside remote work. Work arrangements may evolve based on business requirements.



Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
  • Active legal license to practice in New Jersey and good standing with the state bar.
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in insurance defense.
  • Familiarity with a paperless work environment.
  • Proficient in automation and technical skills.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Expected annual salary range: $125,625 - $135,000.
  • Potential annual incentive pay up to 16% of base salary.
