ResponsibilitiesGregory P Helfrich & Associates (Claims Litigation Office) is seeking a litigation attorney to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication, organizational, time management, and technological skills. This role demands resourcefulness and a strong work ethic, with the capability to independently manage the defense of personal injury litigation from initial response to trial while delivering exceptional customer service. Candidates with 1 to 5 years of experience in insurance defense or litigation are preferred, and trial experience is advantageous. Our organization emphasizes the professional growth of our attorneys. The position will operate in a hybrid environment, requiring some in-office presence and some remote work. Work arrangements may evolve over time based on business requirements.
Qualifications- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey and good standing with the state bar
- 1 to 5 years of experience, preferably in insurance defense
- Experience in a paperless work environment
- Strong technical and automation skills
- Applicants must be eligible to work lawfully in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunities
- Potential yearly salary range: $125,625 – $135,000
- Potential yearly incentive pay: up to 16% of base salary.
