Job Overview

TMD Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Mill Operator to join our team in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC horizontal milling machines to produce high-quality products.
  • Adjust machine settings to control speed, material feed, and punching process.
  • Sort jobs by material and/or part numbers, sequence operations, and pull/stock material as required.
  • Ensure machine is functioning well and producing quality product.
  • Collaborate with production team to prioritize production runs and meet production demands.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience on a CNC horizontal mill or similar machine in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of G-Code CNC programming.
  • Experience with Elumatec and/or Emmegi is a plus.
  • Ability to accurately use and read tape measure, calipers, and others as required.
  • Ability to read drawing and blueprints.
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen.
