As a Therapeutic Care Coordinator with AK Child & Family, you will play a vital role in providing support to emotionally and behaviorally challenged children and their families. Your mission will be to create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth, healing, and positive relationships.

Our team operates under the Sanctuary Model, a non-hierarchical and trauma-informed approach that emphasizes democratic values and social responsibility. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with colleagues, youth, and families while promoting effective treatment strategies and protocols.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including a salary range of $34,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience. Other benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, paid time off, and six observed holidays.

In this role, you will engage in therapeutic interactions, implement treatment strategies, complete timely documentation, and participate in psycho-educational groups. You will also lead physical activities and contribute to the overall well-being of our residents.

To be successful in this position, you must possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience. A valid Alaska driver's license is required, as you will need to transport students in our vehicles. Additionally, you must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
