Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead the day-to-day tasks of the Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce (AECW) staff in support of the director's guidance, strategic objectives, and direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of AECW, ensuring timely completion of assignments and developing new strategies to manage daily operations in a cost-effective, mission-focused manner.
  • Oversee the daily operations of AECW and synchronize tasks from each division.
  • Represent the Director in all Installation meetings and planning sessions, as well as in all coordination with various state organizations.
  • Evaluate the performance of subordinate supervisors and serve as the reviewing official on evaluations of nonsupervisory employees rated by subordinate supervisors.
  • Makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors.
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience leading daily tasks of assigned staff in support of the director's guidance, strategic objectives, and direction of the organization.
  • Planning and scheduling staff actions while ensuring timely completion of assignments.
  • Developing new strategies to manage daily operations in a cost-effective, mission-focused manner.
  • Managing all deployment and pre-deployment programs for the organization.
Qualifications
  • Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
  • Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
