Job SummaryWe are seeking an Environmental Technician to join our Air Measurements Practice in Austin, TX. As an Environmental Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our project managers and field team leaders in the completion of air emissions testing projects at various industrial facilities.
Responsibilities- Conduct air monitoring activities at client sites, including setting up and operating air monitoring equipment, collecting data, and coordinating field work and equipment logistics.
- Support equipment repair, calibration, and maintenance to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with project managers and field team leaders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Engineering (or related field) is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment motor vehicle records check.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders of 75 feet or more.
