Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Principal Project Engineer to join our Kansas City team. The successful candidate will work on major state and area projects, including our recent win - KDOT US69. This is a unique opportunity to work for one of the largest engineering firms in the world, joining a highly-experienced, collaborative, and truly flexible team.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for bridge and structures project elements

Identifying and documenting changes in scope

Determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for technical aspects of the contract

Participating in bid analysis to help determine supplier availability and capability

Requirements:

4-year degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field)

15+ years of related field engineering experience, a broad general engineering background

PE registration

Relevant experience in project engineering for State DOT work

Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity in a project engineering role
