Job Summary:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Engineer to join our team in Kansas City. As a Principal Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables
Develop and implement project management plans and procedures

Requirements:

4-year degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field)
15+ years of related field engineering experience, a broad general engineering background
PE registration
Relevant experience in project engineering for State DOT work
Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity in a project engineering role
Excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
