Position Overview

The Fleet Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in driving growth in parts and service for Ford Pro. This position is field-based and focuses on increasing parts and service traffic to our dealership and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales targets for Ford Pro products and services.
  • Expand the customer base by acquiring new fleets and enhancing service sales for existing clients.
  • Drive wholesale parts growth and foster loyalty in repair orders and services.
  • Facilitate program enrollments and monitor customer progress towards objectives.
  • Identify and respond to bid opportunities, assisting in bid submissions.
  • Collaborate with dealership outside sales representatives.
  • Collect VIN lists from fleet customers.
  • Act on leads generated by marketing initiatives.
  • Identify software and service opportunities within Ford Pro.

Essential Skills

  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to effectively sell products and services with a proactive approach.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to clearly communicate the advantages of fleet solutions to potential clients.
  • Industry Insight: Strong understanding of the fleet management sector.
  • Relationship Management: Skill in building and maintaining robust client relationships.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in commission-based sales, with a focus on cold calling to generate business opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in the fleet or commercial automotive sector, with a background in solutions-based selling.
