Hyatt Regency Greenville is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our esteemed housekeeping team.

Supervisory Duties

The Housekeeping Manager will oversee both associates and supervisors, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Key responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning and delegating tasks; evaluating performance; recognizing and addressing issues; and resolving complaints.

Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness through an organized and effective housekeeping operation.
    • Create work schedules based on expected occupancy levels.
    • Supervise daily operations of housekeeping personnel.
    • Stay updated on cleaning equipment and manage supply orders as needed.
  • Conduct inspections of public areas to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Provide regular training sessions for department staff.
  • Equip team members with the necessary skills to enhance customer service.
  • Regularly monitor service quality and teamwork, providing guidance as necessary.
  • Guarantee that guest accommodations meet the standards of AURO and franchise hotels.
  • Perform quarterly inspections of guest rooms and check on in-house or stay-over rooms as required.
  • Submit maintenance requests as necessary and conduct inventories as assigned.
  • Utilize a comprehensive inspection system to ensure room quality post-cleaning.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to safety protocols and take corrective measures to enhance workplace safety.
  • Maintain close communication with the Executive Housekeeper and familiarize oneself with all hotel operations to provide assistance when needed.

Experience/Education
