Overview:

The Housekeeper is responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness in guest accommodations, adhering to Auro Hotels' established protocols and brand expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Follows designated cleaning protocols to ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness standards.
  2. Collaborates with team members to assist in completing tasks efficiently.
  3. Utilizes cleaning products and supplies correctly and safely.
  4. Ensures proper placement of guest amenities, including toiletries and service directories.
  5. Completes special projects or tasks as assigned by management.
  6. Familiarizes with and practices the hotel's emergency and safety procedures.
  7. Handles linens by sorting, counting, and transporting them as needed.
  8. Prepares beds with clean linens and dusts surfaces to maintain a tidy environment.
  9. Restocks supplies such as glasses and writing materials in guest rooms.
  10. Rearranges furniture, hangs drapes, and performs light maintenance tasks.
  11. Empties waste receptacles and cleans designated areas.
  12. Transports waste to disposal locations.
  13. Replenishes bathroom supplies and maintains cleanliness in restrooms.
  14. Ensures common areas, including lobbies and hallways, are clean and presentable.
  15. Cleans carpets, upholstery, and window treatments as necessary.
  16. Maintains cleanliness of walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
  17. Stocks linen rooms as required.
  18. Ensures outdoor areas, such as patios, are free of debris.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a recognized hotel brand, preferably Marriott. A High School Diploma is preferred.
