Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is a key member of the Grand Bohemian Lodge Greenville team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our luxury hotel. As a strategic business leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, inspiring and coaching staff to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the performance of housekeepers to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
  • Coach and train all housekeepers to deliver superior products and services that exceed guest expectations.
  • Inspect guestrooms and provide feedback to housekeepers to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Inventory supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Effectively execute the flow of work through assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion.
  • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the establishment to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on labor costs and production to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in daily line-ups and regular training/departmental meetings to stay informed and aligned with company goals.
  • Maintain supplies and report to the Executive Housekeeping Manager on items to be ordered for efficient operations.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with corrective action to continuously improve service results and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with interviews, scheduling, training, coaching, and counseling to develop and retain top talent.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree required.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title required.
  • Experience within luxury brand/markets required.
Work Environment

  • Must be comfortable working in a shared space with constant noise.
  • Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism, and collaboration.
  • Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
