Moreover, our fuel and convenience division, pharmacy, in-house grocery warehouse and distribution center, in-house Central Bakery, in-house Fresh Foods Commissary, and Tops Cleaners are vital components of our operations.


Position Summary:
We are seeking a Department Manager to oversee our Bakery Department at our location.

As the primary leader responsible for department performance, you will ensure the efficient operation of the department by maximizing sales and gross profits through effective management of personnel and resources.

You will guide the department team through continuous training, motivation, and coaching to guarantee exceptional customer service is delivered by all.

Your responsibilities will include directing and coordinating the ordering, receiving, merchandising, pricing, and maintaining the freshness of department products.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records, provide excellent customer service, manage employee relations, oversee labor, control gross profit and expenses, manage inventory, minimize shrinkage, enhance public relations, stock products, ensure freshness by rotating and removing out-of-stock items, direct team members' workload, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with food safety and company safety standards.


Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age;
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
