Job Overview:
As a key member of the Ryder System team, the Logistics Operations Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily functions within a designated area, ensuring the smooth operation of logistics and account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor direct reports while achieving daily operational objectives.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and effectively manage expectations.
  • Oversee staffing performance and development for both exempt and non-exempt personnel.
  • Plan and schedule daily operations efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations as well as state, local, and federal laws.

Additional Duties:
Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

  • In-depth knowledge of the logistics industry.
  • Understanding of local and federal regulations affecting customers and the company.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Supply Chain Management components.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • At least one year of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
