Our client, Motion Recruitment, is seeking a Senior MS Exchange Administrator to enhance their team with a focus on managing Exchange servers and facilitating a transition to cloud solutions.

***This role is a 6-month contract initially with potential for extension in 6-month increments, ultimately aiming for a permanent position.***

The Exchange Systems Specialist will be tasked with overseeing extensive deployments of Exchange infrastructures, providing support for Windows Server, Active Directory, and possessing knowledge of Azure, as the migration to the cloud is planned for 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee large-scale deployments of Exchange environments and messaging systems, including MS Active Sync (mobile devices), Active Directory, IIS, Spam/Anti-virus filtering, and Clustering.
  • Configuration, support, and management of Exchange versions 2010/2013/2016/2019, Active Directory, Windows Server (various versions), Datacenter, SQL (various versions), Veeam Backup, and Microsoft SharePoint technologies.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance for Microsoft Exchange from On-Prem 2016 to Cloud SaaS.
  • Create and manage user accounts and mailboxes.
  • Execute mailbox migrations and restorations.
